Privacy and cookie policy
Last updated 28 September 2026. This policy explains what personal data CheckedCalc (checkedcalc.com) processes, why, and your rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

Cookies and similar technologies
CheckedCalc sets no cookies of its own and uses no local storage, fingerprinting or tracking pixels, so no consent banner is shown. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie if its bot protection is triggered. This cookie is exempt from consent under PECR. If that changes, for example when advertising starts, this policy will be updated first and your consent will be asked for before anything non-essential is stored.

We do not sell personal data and do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Children
CheckedCalc is written for professional engineers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when what we collect changes, for example before advertising or analytics start. The date at the top shows the current version.
